Knit this Light and Breezy Top!

This knit sleeveless top is absolutely perfect for summer knitting and wearing, and could also be worn with a blazer or cardigan for winter wear too!

This lovely knit top is shared with thanks from Berroco Yarns, and is a welcome boost of casual elegance into any woman’s wardrobe!  It features a handkerchief hemline with a dainty design just up a ways from the hem, but if the design seems intimidating at all to you, could could also just knit it without the design and just substitute the rows of design in the pattern and replace them with stockinette stitch if you would prefer.

The yarn they are calling for is a cashmere and cotton blend, but it would also work great in any similarly weighted yarn!  I am thinking bamboo for a silky, sensuous experience, or if you were planning to wear them year-round, you could make it in a very soft merino.  You can even hold two fine yarns together to make up the same weight, which would give it a bit of a tweedy appearance.

You could also alter the length of the sweater, thus making it a crop top or a longer tunic if that would be your preference!
